Shape Drawing Challenge
Shape Drawing Challenge starts with possibilities instead of a finished picture to match. Sixteen repeated shapes, six illustrated examples per shape, and room for 480 drawings give artists a place to keep exploring different interpretations.

A beginning to react to, not a picture to match
Shape Drawing Challenge is a 106-page activity book built around 16 simple starting shapes. Each one appears repeatedly, creating room for up to 480 drawings. Six hand-drawn examples accompany each shape to show several interpretations, while the remaining possibilities belong to the artist.
Choose what the outline becomes
A shape can become a whole character or one small part of an object. Try a familiar interpretation first, then rotate the page, change the scale of the imagined subject, or choose a different role for the outline. These are ways to approach an open-ended activity, not a list of required results.
Examples offer possibilities
The illustrated examples can help an artist see that one beginning has several uses. Following an example is an option; discovering another interpretation is also an option. A rough drawing or an unfinished idea can be a reasonable stopping point.
For different ages and preferences
The book is presented as an all-ages activity. Kids, teens, and adults can choose their own amount of detail. A family can share the same starting outline while keeping separate interpretations. Select suitable tools and help for each participant; all-ages guidance does not mean identical abilities.

A published collection, with room for your own work
The listed print edition measures 8.5 by 11 inches. The book provides the repeated shapes and examples; drawing tools are separate. A blank companion sketchbook can hold larger scenes or variations that grow beyond the available space.
